Announcement of result of Postman / Mailguard examination held on 16.12.2012
for the vacancies of the year 2011 – reg

1. The
result of Postman examination held on 16.12.2012 is announced as follows.
2. No
departmental candidate had appeared in the above examination and therefore one
vacancy under UR category is kept unfilled and the vacancy has been taken up
with RO, Coimbatore by this office to appoint one MTS from neighboring division
for the above unfilled vacancy.
3. One
vacancy allotted to PH (VH) to this division is kept unfilled as no one in this
division related to VH had appeared for the above examination and hence the
vacancy reserved for PH-VH has been taken up with RO, Coimbatore by this office
to appoint one eligible GDS from neighboring division for the above unfilled
vacancy.
4. The
under mentioned GDS have come out successful in the above said examination and
selected for appointment in Postman cadre in Namakkal Division for the
vacancies of 2011 (GDS outsider merit quota).

for the above examination will render them ineligible for appointment.
6. The
training and allotment orders will be issued separately.
7. The
selection is subject to the condition that no disciplinary/ vigilance case is
either pending or contemplated against the selected candidates.
8. In
case, if it is found subsequently that any of the selected candidate(s) was not
eligible to take the examination under the existing rules/instructions on the
subject or for any reasons or in case any mistake is found with regard to
announcement of results of any candidate for any reason whatsoever his/her name
will be deleted from the list of successful candidates, as the case may be.
This result is also subject to any change in merit list of successful
candidates due to any reason in accordance with the existing rules and
instructions on the subject”
