Regional Office has placed purchase order for supply of 2 KVA portable genset (Honda Siel make genset, model : EXK 2800S) and 20 KG Electronic Weighing Scales (Essae Teraoka make) for all the class III offices. The supply of genset and Electronic Weighing Scale is expected to be made shortly. Hence all the SPMs are requested to do the following without fail.
· While receiving the genset / Electronic Weighing Scale kindly ensure that all the spare parts / accessories of the machines are actually received in good condition as per the invoice.
· Obtain the invoice copy of each machine without fail.
· The receipt of genset / EWS should be intimated to Divisional Office on the same day itself with the copy of invoice of the machine.
· Keep the genset / Electronic Weighing Scale safely in the office premises without opening the packing.
· The service engineer of the supplier firm will come to your office and test check the genset / EWS and will show a demo.
· The SPM concerned should give satisfactory report to the firm if any, only after careful verification that the machine is working properly and the spare parts are not damaged.
· A history sheet should be opened for genset and EWS separately and a copy of the same should be forwarded to this office.
