            Kindly refer to the above. This is regarding Holidays to be observed in Administrative / Operative Offices during the year 2013.

            The holiday on the occasion of Muharram was originally listed on Thursday, the 14^th November 2013 vide this office letter cited above. This festival is being celebrated dependent on citing of the Moon. In accordance with C.O letter no.TCA/130-2/13 dated 12.11.13 communicated vide R.O Endt.No.TCA/40093/2013 dated 13.11.13, it is informed that the holiday on the occasion of Muharram will be on Friday, the 15^th November,2013 and All Administrative / Operative Offices of the Department shall remain closed on 15.11.2013 (Friday) on account of Muharram. As such 14.11.2013 will be a working day.

            This may be brought to the notice of all the official concerned without fail including those who are in leave, deputation and training etc.,
