            This is regarding Prompt delivery of all available Mails on Mondays and the next day of Postal holidays.

            The above mentioned subject was under the consideration at Postal Directorate, New Delhi and now it has been decided by the directorate that in order to ensure that all mails are sorted completely and issued to Postmen before the scheduled time of delivery on Mondays and the next day of Postal holidays to call sorting staff earlier than the scheduled time of their duty and provide more sorting staff on Mondays / the next day of holidays. The Postmasters should ensure that all mails available for delivery on Mondays and the next day of Postal holidays are issued to Postmen and they leave for their beats at the scheduled time like any other working days.

           

            The Postmasters should take necessary arrangement on the instructions in the forgoing paragraph and send a compliance report to this office.
