               Applications are invited for filling  up the  post of Gramin Dak Sevak  Branch Postmaster  at KATCHUPALLI BO a/w KONGANAPURAM  SO 637102.   
          
            The vacancy is notified for “UR  (Un Reserved) Category”

           The monthly  Time Related Continuity  Allowance admissible  for the above post  is Rs. 2745-50-4245   plus DA (subject to change).

            Applications should be preferred only in the prescribed form (Specimen enclosed) supported by attested copies of certificates / documents required. (Originals  should not be sent with the application). 

            Application complete in all aspect should be sent by  Registered  post / Speed  post in sealed cover duly  superscribed  as “Application for the post of GDS  BPM, KATCHUPALLI BO a/w KONGANAPURAM SO”   and the cover  should be addressed to  “Šri.V.Muthuraj, Superintendent of Post Offices, Namakkal Division, Namakkal 637 001” so as to reach the undersigned  on or before   03.02.2016.

               Applications are invited for filling  up the  post of Gramin Dak Sevak  Branch Postmaster  at S.VALAVANTHI BO a/w PALAPATTI  SO 637017.    
           
            The vacancy is notified for “UR  (Un Reserved) Category”

           The monthly  Time Related Continuity  Allowance admissible  for the above post  is Rs. 3660-70-5760   plus DA (subject to change).

            Applications should be preferred only in the prescribed form (Specimen enclosed) supported by attested copies of certificates / documents required. (Originals  should not be sent with the application). 

            Application complete in all aspect should be sent by  Registered  post / Speed  post in sealed cover duly  superscribed  as “Application for the post of GDS  BPM, S.VALAVANTHI BO a/w PALAPATTI SO”   and the cover  should be addressed to  “Šri.V.Muthuraj, Superintendent of Post Offices, Namakkal Division, Namakkal 637 001” so as to reach the undersigned  on or before   03.02.2016  .  The cover addressed for the above post should be written as under:


 
Applications in the following cases will not be considered for selection and no correspondence  will be made with those applicants:-

1.  Applications received without SUPERSCRIPTION.
2.  Applications received by  ORDINARY POST / COURIER 
3.  Applications received without writing proper address as specified in the prepara.
4.  Applications received by hand.
5.  Incomplete applications, applications not in the prescribed form and applications   
     received  after the prescribed last date for receipt.


            Some important conditions governing the selection of GDS BPM are as follows :

1. The candidate should have undergone Basic Computer Training for atleast 60 days from State Government, Central Government, University Boards , Recognised Private Computer Training Institutes  and should enclose an Attested copy of Certificate to that effect. However for recognizing the Computer Certificates issued by Private Training Institutes, they should  possess reputation, credibility, quality of education.

If a candidate has studied computer as a subject in Matriculation or Class XII or higher educational qualification, the same will be accepted as recognized computer training and a separate certificate need not be furnished. An Attested copy of relevant certificate should be enclosed.

The required  original certificate should be produced at the time of verification.

2. The applicant should have completed 18 years of age but not completed 30 years as on the date of notification as on 04.01.2016.

3.    The applicant should have passed SSLC / Matriculation examination. (An attested copy of SSLC / Matriculation mark list should invariably be attached with the application) and application received without mark list and without attestation on it will not be considered. No weightage will be given to educational qualification   higher than SSLC /  Matriculation.

4.    The candidate applying for the post will have to supplement the income  from other employment sources so as to  have adequate means of livelihood  to support  himself  /herself and his /her family.

5.    The selected candidate should furnish security for Rs.25000/- IN THE FORM OF ANY APPROVED MODE.

6.    Residence in the Post village/ in the delivery jurisdiction of the post office before engagement shall be mandatory for a sevak.

7.    Post office shall be located in the accommodation to be provided by GDS BPM   at his own cost/responsibility/ arrangement which should  be suitable for use as post office  premises.

8.    LIC agents are not eligible for the post unless they give up the agency.

9.   The candidates who are already holding the post of Gramin Dak Sevak should forward the application through proper channel only.

10. Two conduct certificates  from  respectable / responsible  person should be obtained and  submitted  with the application.

11. The applicant should be a person with  active habits and physically fit.

12. The eligibility of the candidate for the post will be determined as  on the  date of notification.

13. Selected candidates will be governed by Department of Posts Gramin Dak Sevaks (Conduct and Engagement) Rules 2011 as amended from time to time.

14. The engagement is purely temporary but likely to continue in due course.

15. Incomplete applications, applications not in the prescribed form and applications received  after the prescribed last date for receipt  will not be  considered under any circumstance.

16. Persons holding elective posts are not eligible.Canvassing directly or indirectly will disqualify the applicant’s candidature and the applications will not be considered.
