of Due Mail & Sorting List - reg
The
Operational network for first and second class mail (unregistered and
registered) was redesigned as part of Mail Network Optimization as per the
orders of Directorate. It is learnt that the need for a clarification has
arisen regarding “Due Mail & Sorting List” consequent upon implementation
of the redesigned network for first and second class mails under MNOP. Under this
Mail offices have been classified as Level-1 (L1) and Level-2 (L2) offices and
L2 offices have been mapped to respective L1 offices.
Therefore
the Due Mail & Sorting List of all offices should be revised immediately.
Hence all the PMs / SPMs are hereby directed to prepare a fresh Due Mail &
Sorting List as per the revised norms as stated above and to submit to this
office for approval on or before
14.06.2013. While submitting the DM&SL to DO the SPMs / PMs should
ensure the correctness of the information, no.of bags, dispatched and received,
mode and time of receipt and dispatch of
bags as per the records.
