A copy of DO lr.No.DPS/Misc/2012 addressed to DPS(HQ), O/o
the CPMG, TN Circle, Chennai – 600 002, communicated vide RO
lr.No.WLF/Genl/Misc dated 14.03.12 is reproduced below for information and
necessary action.
“ I am glad to inform you that online data
base of blood donors was provided in the website of Regional Office, Kurnool
i.e., www.knackpost.com. Using this facility,
any blood donor, either departmental official or outsider or general public can
register themselves as blood donors by furnishing their name, location, blood
group. Since the mobile numbers are available, blood donors can be directly
contacted by the needy people. This facility can be availed for free of cost. It
is requested to publicize the facility among the staff and general of your
region, so that precious lives can be saved in case of emergency.”
It is
requested that wide publicity may be given to the contents of the above said
matter by exhibiting in the office notice board as well as in prominent places
of post offices.
