of fire extinguisher - reg
It is
noticed that in most of the Post Offices, the fire extinguishers not refilled
for years together and kept unused. It is an essential item to be should be
kept ready at all time to save the post office records / properties from
flames. Efforts have been taken by this office to refill the fire extinguisher
by tender process and no tender has been received. Therefore it is decided to
refill the fire extinguishers of Post Offices on the basis of competitive quotes
from the local service firms.
Hence all
the PMs and SPMs are requested to obtain and submit the competitive quotations
for refilling the fire extinguishers at their offices and to safeguard the
office from fire.
