TENDER NOTICE
1. Sealed tenders are invited for
recanning of cane netted chairs and other chairs at Post Offices in Namakkal
Division for the year 2012-2013.
2. The tenders should be sent by Regd.
Post in a sealed cover addressed to Shri.K.Shanmugam, Superintendent of POs.,
Namakkal Division, Namakkal – 637002 clearly super scribed as “TENDER FOR RECANNING
OF CHAIRS” for the year 2012-13 so as to reach
the undersigned on or before 31.05.2012 at 1400 hours.
3. An earnest money of Rs.100/- (Rupees
One Hundred only) should be credited at any post office and the cash receipt
(ACG-67) obtained thereof should be attached to the tender. Earnest money
deposit sent through money orders and Indian Postal Orders will not be
entertained. Tenders not accompanied with the said post office receipt will be
rejected.
4. The Tenders will be opened at the
Office of the undersigned at 1400 hours on 31.05.2012 in the presence of such
tenderers who may wish to be present.
5. The rates should be quoted separately
for recanning each item of work:-
1.
Recanning
the bottom seat of R/B wooden chairs.
2.
Recanning
the back rest of R/B wooden chairs
3.
Recanning
the bottom seat of tabular chairs
4.
Recanning
the back rest of tabular chairs
5.
Recanning
of bottom seat of revolving chairs
6.
Recanning
of back rest of revolving chairs
7.
Recanning
of back rest of “L” type chair
8.
Recanning
of bottom seat of “L” type chair
9.
Recanning
of bottom of / back rest of tabular chair by removing the
old broken frame, fixing
the new one with nut and bolt by replacing
the present screws and
the frame duly painted with black paint.
10. Providing handle to the steel chair
11. Providing handle to the wooden chair
12. For fixing bolts and nuts
13. Providing wheels for computer chairs
14. Providing of plastic bush for “S” type
chair
6. The approved tenderers should use their
own materials of good quality for recanning of chairs (ie) plastic wire etc.
He/She should be prepared to go to the actual station where the chairs are to
be re canned. No traveling expense will be paid for the purpose. The recanning
work should be done to the entire satisfaction of the Departmental Officers.
Payment of the bills will be made at Namakkal HO (or) at Tiruchengodu HO.
7. The
contract will remain current up to 31.03.2013.
8. Any
attempt or negotiation direct or indirect on the part of tenderer with the
undersigned after submission of the tender or any endeavor to secure any
interest for an act of perspective tenderer to influence by any means, the
acceptance of the particular tender will render liable for rejection.
9. The work
should be executed at least within 15 days of receipt of communication from
this office. If there would be any abnormal delay and failure in attending the
recanning work, the contract would be liable to be immediately terminated and
the name of the approved tenderer will be “BLACK LISTED” from the list of
contractors for this work for a period of 3 years. The earnest money deposit
will also be forfeited to Government accounts.
9. The
officer is competent
to bind himself to accept the lowest tender in respect of any items and
reserves the right to accept or reject any of the tenders part or whole without
assigning any reasons thereof.
